What are some new fun things to do in October at the world?

Hey everyone! My fiance is taking me to Disney World for my birthday the weekend of October 22nd for a few days. The night we get there we wanted to go out and have some drinks together. I was thinking Boardwalk..if anyone has any input on that it would be great! And if there are any cool things that we can't miss during our trip during this time of year let me know! I can't wait to get there! Thanks

Absolutely make sure to hit the Food and Wine Festival going on at EPCOT. Also, can't miss the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party going on selected dates at the Magic Kingdom. This is a seperate and Hard ticketed event you will have to buy additional passes for, but it's worth it and it's loads of fun

Thanks! We have been lots before but only once during this specific time. Luckily, we get extra magic hours until 2 the saturday we are there! The Food and Wine Festival is definitely something we will do too! We tried doing the f&w festival last year and its was too crowded I think it was because it was the last 2 days that it was going on...:shrug: I hope!

Yeah you can expect it to pretty much be the norm, the Food and Wine Festival is pretty popular. My only tips for that would be to NOT go to EPCOT on Extra Magic Hour days as EPCOT will be more crowded. Other than that, get there early, or follow touring plans.

But seriously, anything and everything at WDW is fun, that's what they sell. I would suggest checking out their web site (you probably already did), but go, and anything that looks interesting, do.

The extra magic hours on saturday are at Magic Kingdom luckily so we will do epcot during the day/evening then head over to Magic at night
