Werid Question on Disney's Sports Teams

Could Disney pay off or something else the MBL and NHL for wins for there teams. I just think it's alittle werid that Disney profits fall so they need to unload some assets. But both teams are under valued from what they payed, but then the Angels won the World Series making them more desireable and cost more to buy. And now the Ducks are in the Play offs and if they win it, it will put interest in them again and maybe find them a buyer at a higher cost. Also both teams play in Anehiem and have helped attract people to Downtown Disney's (ESPN Zone) and to the parks for special events. But I just thought it was strange.

It's just sheer coincidence. In MLB, for certain, there's no way in hell that they could possibly get Steinbrenner to agree to throw a series. Not after all the money he's throwing away just to try to buy a championship. Nobody goes into sports teams for money, they're pretty much always money losers. They go in to win. They wouldn't lose for money.

Weird question is right and absolutely false. If it was true, then you stumbled onto the HUGEST sports story in history. It's coincidence, just like some years that one city will have all of their teams make the playoffs or win championships--example is the 1986 Boston teams--Celtics win the NBA championship, Red Sox and Patriots lose the championship.
