Congrats!!! You can't go wrong with any of the restaurants there even down to the QS The Mara and Sanaa next door at Kidani. We love all of them. :)

Thanks for the advice guys :) Have either of you tried Boma?
Yes we have been to all of them multiple times. We visit several every trip. Boma we love the breakfast! Probably the best breakfast buffet on property and only one we do regularly. Actually it's the only buffet we have done more than once on property since we are not huge buffet fans. Dinner I can't speak on personally but all I know who tried dinner also loved it. ;)

At Sanaa, you can sit overlooking the animals. Their naan bread service is fantastic. Jiko is more up-scale with excellent food. Boma has the BEST breakfast buffet on property. Be sure to let Disney know that you are on your honeymoon. They will put that on all of your reservations and oftentimes [not guaranteed] you get freebies with your meal. Be sure to wear your 'Honeymoon' pin that you get at check-in. If they don't have one ready, be sure to ask. Congratulations, and have a great time. We have spent a couple of anniversaries there - including our 45th.

And another tip if dining at Sanaa make sure to make your reservation while it's still daylight at whatever time of year, so you can enjoy seeing the animals more. We usually do a late lunch there or early dinner being we are always there in the fall when it gets darker earlier. :)

Thank you for the advice guys :) Sanaa sounds like a must! Do you know how easy it is to get a reservation there?

Thank you :) We will most definately be wearing our honeymoon pin then. What freebies would you likely get? :)

I've done dinner at Boma with my husband, and it was awesome! 3 words: The Meat Station. :inlove: The desserts were great too. We were celebrating an anniversary too, but sadly, no freebies. I mentioned it when I made the reservation, but I guess the CM didn't make a note on it.

Headed to AKL in just over a day... our first dinner is at Jiko. It's always amazing - unique flavors ... fantastic South African wine selections. Sanaa is also a win - just go for the naan sampler if nothing else. Does anyone know if they still have a couple of free tours of the property? There's also the night-vision savanna viewing (although I hear it's hit or miss). Just wandering around in awe of the construction and detail of the place is an activity itself. Drinks by a fire... Amzing place.

At a couple of sit-down restaurants, we got free desserts.

This was at Sanaa. To be honest, my wife is gluten-free, and the chef made this for her. The items on the right are the zebra domes. These were formed on a wafer of chocolate, rather than the usual cookie [biscuit] wafer.

Thank you very much :) This has made us so excited! My partner is also gluten free so she was super happy to find this out :) Thanks again!

BOMA!!! So yummy and what a romantic resort to have your honeymoon. Walking around in the evening is so wonderful.

If this is your home resort, I'd consider eating at all of them, easily 3 of the best on property.

As for the time there, it's such a beautiful resort. I miss it daily.
