Jiko>Sanaa>Mara>Boma.
Many will disagree with my feelings above. I strongly suggest you do a lunch at Sanaa and a dinner at Jiko. Red Jasper wine at Jiko is excellent. Warwick Three Cape Ladies wine at Sanaa is excellent too.

Sanaa is awesome, get a window seat. The breakfast buffet at boma is also great. The mara had some nice choices for a quick service, especially the soup.

We disneymooned at AK Nov 2001. It had only been open for 7 months. I did not even know it existed at the time. This was when everyone still thought AK was a zoo. You had the bar in the lobby, Boma, Mara, and the pool bar. They were all excellent. Our experience was probably more unique because Disney lost our reservation and due to a huge convention, all monorail resorts were full. It was also the slowest I had ever been to WDW because it was shortly after 9/11 and people were not traveling. We were put into what was being turned into a honeymoon room. It was on the lobby floor just to the right of Arusha rock. Every CM at the resort bent over backwards for us and we didn't even ask for anything. While having a drink at the lobby bar, we were asked if we wanted free dinner at Boma. We got free drinks at random times at the bar. We were given free breakfast at Donald's Breakfastsaurus because the AK park hours were wrong at AK.

Just go and enjoy it. The resort is my favorite on property. People complain it is too far out. Its not that bad at all. 5 minutes to AK, <10 minutes to DHS/Epcot, and 15 minutes to MK.

We (@aw14) were there in November and we did the night safari that tours around the Savannah at the resort. You have to book it and pay in advance, it leaves from Sanaa I believe at 9PM, and takes about 10 people total on an open large jeep trip around the Savannah on the hotel property. They supply you with military-grade night vision goggles for spotting the animals on the Savannah so you see everything! We had a VERY friendly giraffe the night we did the tour who followed us wherever we went and stopped whenever we stopped. He was the highlight of the tour! The guide we had was amazing, she told us about how the animals are cared for, what they eat, what happens to the animals in the event of cold or heavy storms. It was so informative and a great experience. I highly recommend doing this! Happy Honeymoon!

I couldn't agree more. That giraffe became a tour guide in its own right
