I know it's because I'm running Noscript on my browser, but other than when I completely disable the add-on, I can't seem to make the blue dots appear. I just get an empty rectangle letting me know something is supposed to be there.

Any idea what part of your page scripts I need to allow to make it work?
I really don't recommend running no scripts of either the forum or the main sites at WDWMAGIC. We use them extensively, and it will cause issues with using the site. Can you whitelist WDWMAGIC.COM in your no scripts add on?

The site works really well on Windows Phone/Mobile btw. Not so much on IE11 for the desktop. The home icon is invisible and the font is all stuck in Times New Roman. Luckily I have Chrome installed but I know some office workers are stuck with whatever browser the IT guys see fit.
Just another thought on this, make sure you are not running IE in compatibility mode.

@wdwmagic when navigating directly to a specific post using the "Alerts" menu (i.e. so-and-so quoted you), the blue navigation banner covers the start of the text.

Yes it is a compressed font in some areas. We used that to get the most amount of information into some tight spaces. At first it does seem jarring, but I found it to be quick to get used to.

It's still "x and y and z number of people like this post" correct? So, there's a limit on the amount of characters. You're compressing laterally for a net gain of just more white space to the right. I'm not sure what the upside here is. It's literally migraine inducing for me. Although, I must point out that I'm extremely sensitive to issues like this.

Holy white batman!

I find the new forum template extremely difficult to read. The old template lacked a ton of contrast, but at least it was soft on the eyes... the new one is like starring into headlights and trying to find the details in the glare. Very hard on the eyes... the huge swaths of stark white everywhere and not much contrast.

Quoted text is WAY too small... as is the text in banners and some links. The new font has less kerning... making the size issue exaggerated for reading.

The userinfo and banner text is only 10px and 11px respectively - its like the equivalent of <8pt fonts... It was tiny before, but with the blaring white background around the box now its even harder to read. roboto condensed has got to go please!

The smaller fonts and new blaring white are a real hit on read-ability of the page. Now its like there are blocks of text I can't read by scanning the page.. I need to focus in to get it.. and I feel like I'm squinting the entire time the page is on the screen. These smaller changes like the fixed width, soft colors, white background, etc all work in isolation.. but when combined.. oi!!

Also not a fan of the 'white' buttons in the menu bar on a grey banner..

IE11 was one of our test platforms, and we have confirmed normal operation on both the main site and the forum.

Are you running any form of ad block or something blocking access to external fonts?

Just another thought on this, make sure you are not running IE in compatibility mode.

Nope, no adblock or compatibility mode enabled. I have a feeling our IT dept made some adjustments to our IE browsers which makes it run slightly different (which explains why it took them forever to roll it out to us).

I understand that, it's just that I've never had a problem before with this site and running no script. If I need a script to run (such as when I'm looking at a photo gallary), I just temporarily allow that script to work and everything's fine. This is the first time I've not been able to get something on here to work without allowing ALL scripts on the page to run. Guess I'll just stick with my little rectangle. Thanks for trying to help. The rest of the update looks great - especially for the main page :-D!

Thanks! Glad you like it.

The logo is much smaller than before, because we are trying to make the content be the main focus, rather than our branding. I think you will get used to the font, I've been using the new layout for the past 3 months, and at first it was a bit of a shock to the system, but you get used to it - you'll have to trust me on that one. :)
I hope you're right! To me, I feel like I have to squint to be able to read the font on a desktop. It's really hard to read for me. It almost looks like my resolution is weird or something. The font in the reply section, however, is fine.

Any ideas why my phone's browser is not resizing pages correctly when I access the forums? I have to zoom out to view pages correctly. Really like the way things look on my device in general. Just having issues with how they initially display.

I'm using a Windows phone. Mobile Version setting.

The font change is the hardest... roboto is way too tight and tiny..

The editing box is Arial, 16px... yet the post view is roboto 16px.. which is way lighter, tighter and smaller due to the font change.. and at 12px in quoted text its just teeny-weeny

As a mostly desktop user, my only complaint about the new layout is that the Discussion Forum's Summary of recent posts is no longer right there next to the latest news. It was nice to be able to quickly visit the site and see all of the up-to-date info in News and Discussion Forums in one area without having to scroll at all; so it does feel like it's mostly a mobile layout now. I absolutely love the move towards a larger emphasis on images and the cleaner look though!

There's a big "New Posts" button, too.

Steve, it looks beautiful! I didn't know it was coming and when I pulled up the forum this morning it was a pleasant surprise. Great job! @wdwmagic

ETA: I'm on an iPad, for what it's worth, in case that's helpful info. :)
