Weird things the "general public" say.

Or when people think King Louie used to be on the Jungle Cruise...:p:p:p

You mean he WASN'T? ...my whole life is a lie! ;)

To be fair I'm sure some people have overheard me spouting "untrue" facts...my family is very much the type to have a little fun with those in line unfamiliar with the rides.

I know I mentioned it elsewhere in another thread awhile back, but when I traveled with friends in February last year we had a person who was afraid of roller coasters. We sat down for a ride and I turned to him very seriously and told him to hold on tight because there was a 30 foot drop up ahead. Our group and the people behind us cracked up at his reaction...we were on It's a Small World. :D

Weird things I've heard from others while in the parks...tourists going up to the CM and asking what time the rain was going to stop was a big one.

I hate it when people say, "Sir, stop asking us for leftovers from our meal. Go vacation elsewhere!"

Man, some people can be so uptight. And while at Disney World no less.
You would think that more people would be filled with the Disney "Pixie Dust" Magic frame of mind wouldn't you? I mean it is Disney World after all. What a bunch of self-centered, mean spirited jerks. Better luck at the next table. ;)

You forgot gluttonous. They eat more than they should. It's one of the reasons for their self-serving behavior. Really makes you sad for the condition of our society, doesn't it? A mew mantra should state, "Why can't we all be more like rsoxguy?"

Actual conversation at work last night...

"Disney World is for kids; YOUR time has passed."
Me: "If Disney World is just for kids, then why do they serve liquor?"
"Oh, I forgot about that. Hey, they shouldn't be serving liquor!"
Me: "Why not?"
"Because there are KIDS there!"
Me: "There are kids at Eagles and Phillies games, and they serve liquor there, don't they?"
"That's different!"
Me: "How so?"
Long pause, followed by an unintelligible mumble. "... sports. Man, shut up."

I overheard a guy telling the rest of his family they would not be using FP as it was too expensive WTH?!

Admittedly, on our first couple of trips I was mostly ignorant of FP and didn't use it because I thought it was something special that you had to buy or somehow earn status to use. Stupid me.

Now, I kinda wish everyone had that mindset so that those hard-to-get FP+ selections wouldn't be so hard-to-get. :)

No
I always get annoyed when people want to get their picture taken with Walt and Minnie on the bench in Town Square.

Not, "ruined my vacation" annoyed, more like "smack your forehead and shake your head" annoyed.
