Weekend of Sept. 21-23

Does anyone know why the weekend of Sept. 21-23 is booked for the resorts at WDW?
Have 3 Chinese exchange professors in the States and they would like to visit the Kingdom before heading home the following week, but with no availablilty, we're out of luck:(
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thanks:brick:

I could be because of the Free Dineing promotion offered in the spring for this time period. We will be there on the 21st. but I don't think your friends would want to split a value room with a 2 and 3 year old.:ROFLOL: Good luck and keep trying.

I see standard rooms available at the Yacht club, Beach Club, Saratoga Springs, The Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge Villas, Boardwalk and so on.

Perhaps you meant no standard rooms are available at the value or moderate resorts...but being only 2 weeks away...this doesn't surprise me.

My suggestion would be to try booking on line. When my wife decided to take her dad along for the trip, she called Disney, and tried to get a room at All Star Music, but they said they were all booked. Then she went to the Disney web site, and booked a room at ASM with no problem. Well, I know my room will be waiting for me. Less than 2 weeks, I can't wait. :sohappy:

There is the triathlon that weekend. In addition, there are many rooms from AKL are being rebooked at other resorts. I am going to the POLY that weekend and the week after. There is no availability for the weekend, but rooms are available starting Monday.
