Weekend Crowds

Well, I thought it be best to check. How shall the crowds be this weekend with the MLK Day Holiday? Will the parks still be crowded? I was thinking of doing the Studios and/or MK Saturday night, and AK or Epcot Sunday. Which would be the better place to be Saturday, MGM or MK? How should Epcot be Sunday?

Most of the resorts are going to be 90+% occupied. It's going to be a crazy place with large crowds at all parks.

You'll find weekends are always busier than weekdays because thats when the locals from Florida join with the out-of-towners.

Also, Disney has started advertising this week for the Play 4 Days pass for Florida residents which means there will be an even greater influx of people into the parks this weekend.

How crowded would you say it would be Feb 27-March 2? I'm thinking it would be pretty calm in WDW, but Birnbaum's Book says average attendance??

Actually, it started on January 4th and you could tell a difference. There were lots of these tickets sold this past weekend and you could tell the number of people already taking advantage of it were huge.

This weekend is going to be packed with Play 4 Days and the holiday crowd.

Darn, I was hoping for some small lines. So would lines be considerably smaller at MGM or MK? I think i'll be doing both Saturday though. Hopefully it'll be freezing so no one rides my Splash Mountain.

The UCA (some sort of abreviaton) College Cheerleading Championships are here at the moment.

There is also a 3 vs. 3 soccer tourneyment that's going on as well.

All-Stars are packed.

Lines are never short on Saturdays at MK...that is typically the busiest day there. As for cold, it is supposed to be partly cloudy with a high of 76 and dropping back to 63 for the overnight low on Saturday.
