Weddings At Disney

My fiance and I have decided to have an intimate wedding, with just us and 2 of our friends at Disney World.

I had already booked a room for 9 nights at the Wilderness Lodge. Does anyone know if Disney will arrange for a ceremony without all of the extra stuff that comes in a package? You know, one that won't cost us a year's salary.

Of course, the only way to find out for sure is to call Disney.

My guess would be that they won't vary the basic intimate wedding package very much.

Well, we're on a budget. It seems just to have a ceremony with maybe a champage toast would cost around $3,000. Seems very high for just a ceremony.

I'm gonna call tomorrow. I'm just hoping we can have something very small at the wedding gazeebo near the Grand Floridian or at the Wilderness Lodge.

Man ive always dreamed of having my wedding at disney. Its just that it cost so much and im only 17. but ive planned our just about everything even where im gonna propose

My understanding was that bride/groom's room and passes were included in the $3000. Which may only put the actual cerimony cost at around $1000 and that's not too bad.

Yeah, there is a minimum for every ceremony, regardless of how much you actually do. If I remember from our planning with them (back in 2001) the minimum was either $3000 or $3500.
