Website Issues

It seems like the WDW website is always going through system enhancements hence the website having minimal capability. I am trying to purchase tickets and modify fastpasses and every single page is down. This is my yearly gripe.
 
Oh I agree with you 100%. You'd think being a "world-wide leader in entertainment" they could at least sort out some tech issues... About 50% of the time when I log in to the Disney Movie Rewards site, I get a 404 Error, as well as the Disney Movie Club and just the Disney site in general. It could be a browser issue (I use Chrome), but the fact that it works some of the time and not others leads me to believe that, yes, it is just crashing way too much due either to poor servers or poor tech upkeep.

I completely agree. The quality of their website has been a source of irritation for years. One would think that it was owned by a small business, perhaps selling an assortment of toenail clippers.

Disney World has an awful website. Absolutely terrible.

It doesn't work consistently and you see more Woody telling you there's an error than getting what you need.

I agree, it's barely been working at all lately. I couldn't add a package to my cart for days (I like to see the numbers in front of me) so I finally gave up and called to book. But for awhile there before I gave in and called, it kind of felt like 'why won't you let me give you my money?!'. You'd think they would want that part to work! ;)

I think a lot of the issues on the website have to do with how it handles database calling. Normal pages for just information on the site seem to load fine but anytime I do something involving having to fetch information on booking or dates it slows down.

I also had some issues with MDE today- I called and they said there were system enhancements and it would likely be up later. Tried MDE via computer and app early this evening, no luck. Finally called again and they were able to help me.
