Hi

I'm in the UK and have been checking out the weather constantly for our trip to Orlando on Saturday. Now from Sunday to Thursday it says (weather.com) that there are thunderstorms and what I was wondering was if these are going to be the 3pm short lived type thunderstorms or would be all day ones - does anyone (from FL)have any ideas what I can expect with the weather the next 2 weeks?

Thanks

Lara

Hi Lara B.

How spooky, I'm Lara R, also from the UK!!

Have a great trip. We're off in December!!

Say hi to Mickey for me.

I went to Disneyworld around this time last year. There were a few thunderstorms, and heavy rain, but they are short and sweet, and it's amazing how quickly the place dries again, leaving a sort-of refreshed atmosphere. Also, it's very hot, but that won't seem such a jump in temperature after the weather we've been having over here :)

Don't worry, you'll have a great time regardless of the weather. Put it this way. I managed to see Fantasmic 4 times, Spectromagic twice, Illuminations, twice, Share A Dream Come True twice, and also saw all the other parades. Not to mention doing all the rides, well, all the good ones

Have a good one

Lara R

Hehe

I was there about a week ago, and, though it rained for about an hour and a half each day, every day was just another ho-hum day in paradise... Beautiful Weather.:D

I live in Pensacola Beach, Florida and it looks as if Tropical Storm Erika has made its way into the Gulf of Mexico. It is currently hanging out near southern Florida but is heading west toward Texas. I hope you have a nice and DRY magical time :)

I'm from the UK to :sohappy:...... But I'm not called Lara. Have a great trip. Who are you flying with and where from? Lets us all know how you get on when you come back, I like to hear about the Brits experiences in WDW.

Thanx for everyones responses, it makes me feel better.

I'm flying with virgin from Manchester, we've flown with them a couple of times before and think its one of the best airlines.

I'll let you know how it went when I get back.

We always used to go in September, and we got rained on quite a bit. Not too bad most of the time, but it can last a while this time of year.
We went this past February and it only rained once for about 7 minutes (light rain) the whole week! Not a cloud in the sky either (though it made the pictures look boring without the usual billowing clouds).
