Weather question

I just have a quick question about the weather out there in Disneyland. Does it get cool enough at night to where I should bring a thin jacket? I've pretty much packed shorts and typical summer clothes, or typical clothes Id wear to Disney World. But my dad keeps telling me that I need to pack long pants and jackets and stuff, so I thought Id go to people who have actually been around this time of year and or live there and knows. If it is cool, Id be ok with just a jacket and shorts, I dont think Id be comfortable walking around in long pants. But either way, thanks. PS. we leave early tomorrow morning, Im so excited. :sohappy::sohappy:

You're going to California in July - and you want to know abouts jackets  The only reason you may need a jacket is if the air con is too cold.

Take one (just in case) any weather can be changeable

I was there in late May/early June and it got the smallest bit chilly after dark. (Temps in the 50s or 60s...not cold by any stretch, but weather where I wouldn't have minded a light jacket.) I'd say bring one just in case.

It's been at least 80 degrees every day here in SoCal.

Have fun on your trip!

Uhm yea. From what I've seen and read a couple of people have taken and or needed jackets in the summer so I dont know what you're getting at.

Anyways, thanks for the help everyone. I really cant wait. :sohappy::sohappy:

I think for someone from the UK the July weather in SoCal would seem tropical. But for someone from Houston, you might be surprised at how mild and temperate it is in the evenings. The humidity level here is much lower than it is in Texas and the Southeast, and it's noticeably cooler in the evenings.

But in July you probably won't need a light jacket unless you are very thin blooded. In May and June and September you might want a light jacket for the evening. But in July and August even someone from Texas won't need a jacket.

And don't forget to use Fastpass for Indy, Splash Mt., Grizzly River Run, and Space Mt.!

I wouldn't bring a jacket. Maybe just a sweatshirt or something. But I get cold easily....especially in air conditioned buildings. I highly doubt you'd need pants.

Thanks everybody for all the feedback. Just to be extra cautios, I've decided to bring one very light jacket. Well, we leave for the airport in about an hour and I am so excited. Been wanting to go to DLR for years, and this is definately a dream come true for me. Thanks for all the help and best wishes.
