Hey All. I'm checking the wether for my trip 10/20-10/27 and weather.com is calling for either rain or thunderstorms nearly everyday of my trip :(. Granted, it's 16 days away, how much is this likely to change by the time I leave? Thanks.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Florida much like south Louisiana where I am can change at any minute from hour to hour everyday at this time of year fall/winter!! Lol. Wait until the forecast is within a day or 2 for each day. The long term forecasts 10+ days change very often for WDW and my weather here. We will be there 10/13-10/26 so I'm in the same boat as you. It literally has changed every time I look at the weather as its getting closer. Lol. Weather patterns in the Fall/Winter are all over the place in Florida and much of the south. Usually Oct - Dec there is not a large amount of rain in Florida (as per our trips this time of year every year Oct-Dec and the average yearly rainfall amounts those months) No use in worrying about it. Just be prepared for a variety of weather. :)

Thanks so much for calming my nerves! Sounds like we very well may run right into each other during our trips lol

Lol prob so! Your very welcome!! and hey even if we get a rainy day in WDW is better than a rainy day at home. Lol I usually bring a light rain/windbreaker or hoodie each day to be prepared for whatever comes our way. We get a locker and leave it in there or carry a backpack around with those in it and maybe a pancho or umbrella as well. :)

Oh to add I like to use Accuweather.com for trips. They have a 15 day forecast as well and breaks it down if you go on each individual day's info what percentage of rain day and night etc. I like it better than the weather channel. :)

If you're going to be here for that many days it's going to rain on some of those days. Sorry but that's the reality. What does help you is that the month of October is a transition month. We start seeing the change from the hot and humid summer pattern to the drier winter pattern. The middle of the month marks the traditional end of the rainy season. The afternoon thunderstorm chances go down as your vacation progresses.

Of course, I know it will likely rain at some point over the course of 8 days; it's Central Florida. I just don't want it pour during every single one, thus ruining my vacation.
