Weather lately!?!

Just wondering..... How is the weather been lately, temp/rain?

We were there in June and it rained the entire time we were there. Not just afternoon showers, it was massive downpours for hours. We will be there Oct. 4th and are praying for good weather this time to make up for June.

4 days.......come on clear skies and plenty of sunshine!!!!!

I was there in early June and it was great for us. Sunny and 95 or above every day. Looks like you went during the wrong part of June Anyways, just look up the weather online if you're concerned. It's supposed to rain every day until the 4th, then on the 5th it's supposed to be partly cloudy and between 70 and 89. You may have just missed the storm! Good luck with the weather. But even if it is bad...who cares!? You will still have a great time- and don't let it get you down. You're luckier being there in the rain than anyone else is being stuck at work or school with beautiful weather.

Just got back and it was very hot. Hotter than usual for this time of year. Very humid, too. It rained for 1 to 2 hours almost every afternoon, but cleared quickly. Fantasmic was cancelled one night because of rain.

The best weather we had were the two days that Isidore provided some wind and cloud cover -- but fortunately no rain.

Surprisingly enough, this area (land of much rain LOL) has been pretty decent. I think we've gotten past the brunt of our summer storms, depending on what could develop in the tropics at any given time. It HAS been pretty humid lately though, so dress lightly & plan fo rindoor breaks & plenty of liquid consumption.

Just got back after a two week vacation. The weather was great, except for the rain we got on an evening. It usually started to cloud over about 4pm ish and then it would rain at about 5:30pm-6:00pm for about half an hour to and hour most times with thunder etc. Mostly caused by the 3 hurricanes, one on each side of Florida. They are nothing to worry about, they are not heading for Orlando (so the chap on the TV said) we just got the edge of the storm on an evening.

The temp was in the high 90's and on one day actually went over 100.

Nothing that bad that stopped us doing what we planned.

Glad you had a good time Juggler. I dont mind the heat or afternoon showers. It's the massive downpours that last all day long that puts a damper on the days. This is what we had the third week of this past June. Anyway.........

44 hours until we take off.....can't wait.

We had no major downpours. Longest rain we had was about and couple of hours the night our friends went to epcot to see the firework. They walked back to the hotel and go drenched!

Have a great time. I know I've just been but I'm so envious!

Having said that I'm going back in March for two week! A new friend of mine has a villa in Orlando. :sohappy:
