Wearing Red to Magic Kingdom this Saturday?

I have a question for those of you who are participating in Gay Days this year (and attending the Magic Kingdom date in particular),

Do you think that wearing red (i.e. official Gay Days t-shirts) should be reserved only for active participants (those of the gay persuasion), or do you feel that it's okay for non-gays to wear red in support of the event?

On the surface, wearing the red shirt may initially seem like an easy indicator of one's orientation, but I'm sure there are also those who although not gay would like to show their support for those who are.

Any feedback, particularly from participants or friends of participants, is appreciated.

I think its ok to wear red in support. Absolutely. I am sure there will be others doing the same. There are a lot of families with one or more gay parents and the kids will have red shirts to support moms and dads aunts brothers etc.

I think the idea of wearing red in support of the event is a great idea if you wish. Not everyone in red is going to be gay. Many people won't even know about the event and will do so inadvertently.

I also wanted to say that I have been to Gay Day four times. Each time there were more and more larger groups or families there wearing red shirts together. The first year I went it was more couples. Today, it just seems like a bunch of folks having fun. I cannot tell if they are large familiy groups or friends groups. It often seemed like two or more small families together. I hope this helps you. I think you should wear red and talk to some people there and you find out how many interesting and nice people there are at this event. By wearing red you you can step in and out of the flow so to speak if you want.
