Wearing of sandals in August

DO NOT WEAR SANDALS. My mom wore them once on a trip to WDW a few years ago, and she's had sore foot problems ever since. We also had a friend who we brought along for a trip, and she wore sandles, and she got these huge, horrible, ugly looking blisters. It was awful. So please, for your own good, wear tennis shoes. Trust me on this one.

I wear sandals on every trip during the summer months, they are comfortable and help keep me cooler.

Don't wear cheap sandals....buy a good pair that is comfortable.

If your used to walking around in them, you should be just fine. I wear open backed birk's (and actually found the most comfortable 2-strap pair ever, at Bells down in FLA) and they don't bother me at all. Of course, I've been wearing sandals day in and day out for years, along with going barefoot, so I'm used to it. If I had to wear shoes all day I'd probably go nuts and end up in the horrible guest thread.
