We will Soar over California!

Exactly, I'm hoping it has to do more with Epcot / WS. They can use either the entire US as the land or select scenes from host countries.

I would like to see a trip that leaves from WDW, flies to DL (for a tribute to the original ride), and then makes a huge loop back to WDW. That would make sense and could include just about everything our country has to offer.

I agree Yoda... Something showing the best from the U.S. would be great. Grand Canyon, Mississippi River, Mt. Rushmore, Mt. Ranier, Rocky Mtns, Smokey Mtns, Washington DC, New York City, ..... and so forth It would be an amazing ride but probably a bit long. But I do want to see Soarin' over California first. There is just something about originals.

:lol: But there are things to work with...other than swamp....

From the Keys to the panhandle there are some interesting things to see....

So lets say we start off in the keys...head up soarin over the everglades (gators, panthers, cranes), soar over Miami Beach...waves crashing under your feet, the smell of the ocean/beach/lotion (maybe some music in distance), then orange/grapefruit groves (yea I know), but then oops stumbled into Cape Canaveral...better get out of there, launch in progress...then you pass over Daytona Beach, I know just another Beach...but then you hear the roar of race cars...you get caught in a thunderstorm, but it soon clears, then over as you glide over St. Augustine...the oldest city in the US...finally you soar in horizon a beautiful sunset, you pass Cinderella's castle, passed MK, around SSE, where you see Illuminations from the air...

I'm sure there are more things....haha

it is soarin over california and has been for a while the only thing that has changed is the name and that is why it is confusing to some... they are just going to call ec's soarin'.
i have heard it could be open as soon as january of 2005 anyone else know??

It will open in March 2005. It cannot open in January because the Land is closed for rehab January 2005-mid-March 2005.
