Congratulations!! I am so jealous. I want in the DVC soooo bad, but really don't think we can come up with the extra $$$ to pay for it. If you don't mind me asking (and please feel free to refuse to answer as I do understand it's a personal question) but did you finance or pay in full (please know I am NOT asking you how much you paid - that REALLY would be to personal :ROFLOL
? And did you buy directly from Disney or thru a re-sale. The only reason I ask is because I have heard different information regarding whether or not financing is permitted.

Congrats! I am guessing you likely bought resale if you bought VWL. We own at BLT and just came back from 3 night stay in a studio at VWL. It was an absolutely awesome room: 4th floor, dedicated studio, corner room, near the elevator, facing the lake. We couldn't have picked a better location for our 1st stay there. It is just a gorgeous resort. You'll love it! :wave:

We own at VWL since 2002 (and an add on at BLT last year). I admit we have only stayed there once, but every DVC resort is good.
We have stayed in studios (as a family of 4) many times. One year we even had 5 (DH, myself, 4 year old DD, 11 year old niece and 9 month old DD) Now with the new add on we are able to do a one bedroom next trip. We bought enough to stay in a one bedroom every other year (and a studio the next), but ended up going on multiple trips a year, and decided studios will do.
Come to think of it, we might just be the king of staying in studios.
Studios will do fine, but it is hard in the cooler months because there isn't much storage room. One bedrooms spoil you, but we are fine in a studio!

We've been members since 2006, after the initial stress over spending the money we booked a couple of trips and really love the freedom and quality of vacations it brings - LOVE THE BOARDWALK!!
