We may have a crisis...but the MagicBands are Here!!

So my MagicBands just literally came today! Which makes me so much more excited to go down here in a few weeks. However...I have a bit of an unforeseen crisis. My GF (who was planning to go along) and I recently broke up within the past few days. We agreed it was for the best so there's not real issue there. I did remove her from my itinerary and everything else tied to this trip so there's no chance of it getting messed up by her.

I spoke with a cast member about replacing her on the itinerary and they said it would be very simple to do since all I would need to do is call down and give them the new person's name and they would be able to add it back to the itinerary and would sync with my FastPass selections but I should call down within 1 week of my arrival to ensure the name goes through the system correctly. Basically, I have 3 weeks to find someone to go. I know that shouldn't be too hard but who knows what may happen.

My question is has anyone else here experienced a similar issue of trying to find someone to go on such short notice?

Edit: Below is the picture of how the bands came. I customized both before they were shipped. Originally mine was supposed to be blue but changed it to green kept the other one blue so there would be some difference between them since the blue one has no name on it.

I had a very similar situation happen to me as well. My girlfriend and I broke up literal ha week before departing. My best friend from high school was visiting (he moved a couple hours away at the time and had come back to look for a job) basically we broke up while he was with me and not even 5 minutes later replaced her with him. In the end it ended up being the most fun trip I've had up till then and everything worked out fine. Had no problems switching names for the flights or rooms.

Hope you find someone which I'm sure won't be too hard.
