We are going back :)

We have officially booked our wedding ( we got engaged in the magic kingdom on sept 19,2012). Our wedding is booked here at home in Halifax nova scotia at a place called hattfield farms on sept 21,2013..but we have decided to honeymoon in Disney :) marc (hubby to be) is much more excited for this trip then I though he would be , our proposal trip was his first time!
So here is our debate: do we go back right after the wedding when all of the Halloween decor is up, possibly during food and wine? How busy does it get during that time (we left 4 days before it started this year).. Or wait a few weeks after the wedding until the Christmas decorations are up and do mvmcp?

Marc's very interested in staying at pofq again ( we loved the size, boat transportation, it was beautiful). But I am thinking of doing a split stay with a deluxe.. What would you reccomend? We dined at akl and wl and we loved the look of both of this, but I am open to any.. Maybe those or contemporary? Boardwalk? So many decisions! We will probably go for 10 days, 6 at pofq, 4 at deluxe. We did a 7 day trip this time, but am thinking a 10 would give us more time to relax and maybe do some off site parks.we were thinking a Disney cruise originally with a few days in the parks but Marc is really interested in just doing Disney!

Really wish we had booked the bounce back offer that was in our room, oh well I'll just have to keep an eye out for free dining!

Congratulations to you both! I have never stayed at pofq but I have stayed at 2 deluxes. I think a split stay would work for you and it would be fun. I have stayed at The Contemporary and AKL and they were both beautiful but we just loved the location, transportation, and room size at the Contemporary. AKL beautiful but I'm pretty sure the bus situation is a little messed up & they're are more kids staying there because of the animals. I would suggest (and I really want to stay at either of these 2) the Yacht Club or The Boardwalk, you can walk or take a boat to EPCOT or DHS and you have the whole boardwalk. They generally have less kids (not saying there aren't any) and they have great resturants. Captain's Grille is a must! And it's just me saying this but I would wait till Christmas time because all the resorts & parks will have their decorations up & it just seems happier to me. Hope this helped. :)
