WDWMagic Threads of Annoucements?

I've been looking around for some of the threads that announced some of our favorite rides today. I've tried the search feature but it only goes back twenty pages or so. Can anybody link me to them?

In other words, I want to see what poster's reactions were like when Soarin, and even Monster's Inc Laugh Floor were announced. Can anybody link me to the threads?

I'm guessing the reason you're running into the maximum results ceiling is you aren't limiting your search terms to titles only?

If you want to search for other attractions, try this: Click Advanced Search, type the attraction name in the search bar, and set the dropdown beneath that to "search titles only." That'll keep you from getting back every thread where that ride was ever named in any post.

Then, to make things easier, go to the bottom of the page, and use the following settings:

* Find posts from "A year ago" "and older"
* Sort results by "Thread start date" "in ascending order"
* Show results as "threads"

This will make sure you're searching older threads, and that the oldest ones are the first ones you come across. Good luck.

BTW, I didn't actually read the threads I linked you to. The first one is definitely not an announcement, just a rumor that Soarin' was coming to WDW...and was probably going to Japan. :lol:

Anyway, if you use the method I just laid out, you should have your pick of old Soarin' and MILF chatter threads to pick through.
