The cat is out of the bag, the summer competition scheduled to end our celebration 20 years in the making has been announced! Everyone give a round of applause to @Disney Dad 3000 and @D Hulk for putting together The Great Movie Ride II! Returning to the forum to celebrate its fifth anniversary is the Great Movie Ride! Prompts will be inspired by various iconic films and will take players around the world to face on interesting challenges filmed on location. This season of the beloved competition looks to explore Disney, Universal, and new parks never before seen in this competition. Sign ups for the competition will open up sometime this summer as this competition promises to continue the fun of the anniversary to the very end. To celebrate the announcement of The Great Movie Ride II a special Where in the World will take place this weekend. This one weekend endeavor will be special as it will only use frames from various films, and the player must guess which film is the right one.



Joining The Great Movie Ride II and Where in the World for the final leg of our anniversary will be The Imagineering Jam 2 by @Honey Bee (Rebooted) ! What better way than to cap off our anniversary with a sequel to the event that started us off? Players will be given two weeks to craft an idea based on a general theme, and once the two weeks pass all members of the forum can vote on who had their favorite project. The Imagineering Jam 2 will commence on May 6th. In addition keep an eye out for the winner of the Imagineering Awards as @JokersWild and @PerGron prep for the announcements! Following the end of our forum's anniversary, Sorcerer's Apprentice will be celebrating is tenth anniversary with Season 8 in January 2023!

Over a year ago, we as a community all came together to celebrate twenty years of armchair Imagineering. In this large and ambitious celebration we had a total of five major competitions and 12 activities, games and other events. None of this could have been possible without all of YOU, yes it's because of you that this forum has been able to continue and be as active as it has been for these last 20 years. Throughout the years competitions change, websites change, the world has changed, but the love of armchair Imagineering that you carry on here is able to power this little corner of the world wide web. It's because of that I must thank you all for a magical Platinum Celebration, and for keeping these forums just so imagineery!

Now let's hand out some awards based on the celebration! These awards are based on statistics pulled from the forum's history such as views, replies, posts, etc. This is to eliminate any bias, and truly embrace the results of this platinum celebration and how we all partook in it this past year. All awards only take into account competitions and projects that started during the anniversary; this start date is considered May 10th.
