WDW Withdrawl

It's been WAY too long since I've been to WDW (May 2002)...I mean, I usually go 3 times a year.

Anyhow, are there any major WDWMagic gatherings planned for this year? Any excuse to go would be wonderful....

I hear ya. :lol: I wouldn't mind going back...if I had the ca$h I'd head down there in a heartbeat!

As for a meet and greet, i think the majority of members wanted to meet on a Dec...a long way off! :lol: Check the votes on this thread .

think you've got withdrawl, i haven't been since feb of 2001. i'm not going till october of this year. that's a long way off since i've been there 3 years straight from 99-01.

I usually go through withdrawl right after a vacation. After I get back I try to stay away from all things WDW for a week or two. It helps releive the depression of the real world.

Then I start planning my next trip!

Nothing set in stone at the moment all, but we are looking into a Meet & Greet for us "Magic" types for the last two weeks in May. I am not sure of the dates but as soon as I hear about the specials for that time of year I Am gonna be all over it!! Then I am going to post them in a separate thread so anyone who wants to come, please feel free!!!! The more the merrier. I am not setting up any roommies, that would just be way too odd, but I dont really care if I am alone in my room as long as I have someone to run the parks with!!!! No fun laughing on the rides & stuff by yourself!!! Belle

I definatley have WDW Withdrawl. My entire room is decked out in Disney merchandise so I can feel at home. My last day as a CP in May '02 was so dreadful. The whole day, I believe I cried a total of 6 times! I was so upset. I never thought I would actually go back. But I've been back close to 3 times since. I can't wait to go back again. I feel that I am home when I see Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, The "Hat", and the Tree of Life. I just love that place!!!:kiss:

Yea I just came back home from school........BLAH......thats a switch WDW for most of the break and splat right back into school.........

Yeah, I cried at work, at the apartments, and on the plane while it was taking off. The flights attendants were looking at me weirdly, but they dont know how much FUN I was actually having. Get out? You lived in Nesconset! Thats like 2min from me. Just across Rt.347! Do you ever come back to the neighborhood? I am originally from Brooklyn, most of the family lives their...but I'm in WDW Withdrawal...(to get back to the topic...hehe)

Hey Erik,
I worked at Test Track from January 9, until May 16, 2002....then again from August 9, until September 1, 2002....then again from December 19, until December 26, 2002. Any time that I had off, I was at Disney! I love to work at Test Track! Its awesome!

wannabeBelle: I forgot to answer one thing. I will probablly be going to Disney in May to apply for a Full-Time position, but just for a week. Most likely May 17-25, 2003, cause I got Summer Session of college afterwards (If I decide to go), If not I will permanently be at Disney starting May, if not begining of July.

Hey Kenan!!! You are going to be there most likely when I (we?) will be!! As i said I am definitely going. Some people from here may be coming down to spend sometime in WDW. May 25th is my birthday which is why I Am going then!!! And yes I was right across 347!!!! I lived on Mildred Court which is right off Alexander Avenue, by the Smithaven Mall. I went back to the old block once and I was so dissappointed. You see I used to live on a cul de sac, but they had broken through our circle at the top, cleared out some of the lovely woods up there destroyed the whole look of the place to build 4 more houses!!!! What's up with that!!! Anyhow you sound awesome and I hope all of your plans work out wonderfully!!! Belle
