I like both TL and BB, but I've only been to each one time and that was right after they opened, respectively. I would love to go more often, but those parks are almost always crowded, and standing in long lines half naked with the sun scorching my skin and wet swimtrunks causing me to constantly shake them out and wring out the water is more trouble than the fun is worth. River Country was less crowded, but something about swimming in that fetid lake water turns me off.

Has anyone been to TL or BB during warm weather when it was very uncrowded? When was that?

My favorite park, by far, is Blizzard Beach. Teamboat Springs is the best slide ever! The theming is great at this park, and Winter Summerland is right next door!

I have only been to BB, we were there last November. TL was closed for rehab at the time. We absolutely loved it. It was about 85 degrees that day and no lines. The only thing we waited for was the Ski Lift. Teamboat Springs was my favorite! The Lazy River is great too!

i have been to both
BB most recently
I liked it a lot but i think they should build another set of ski lifts...
we didnt feel like waiting in line for them at one time and so we took the stairs
 about halfway up i think i suffered a minor heartattack (it was like 3000 degrees outside)

i think it was my favorite though because when we were there Goofy jumped into the wave pool!! I got my picture taken and everything (he's my favorite)

Although I love all three waterparks I always thought there was something special about River Country. Maybe it was because it used to be the only water park that Goofy attended or maybe it was because it was never really packed. The size of the park meant that you could always see the kids even if you just wanted to stand on the edge of the water and watch them. I really miss the place and hope they open it again soon :(

BB and TL are the best, at BB Downhill Double Dipper is loads of fun, so is slush gusher, but i have not managed to get on summit plummet plummit yet but hopefully in the future.TeamBoat Springs is also very good. At TL Humunga Cowabunga (is that how u spell it?) is gr8 too, and the wave pool is amazin, i spent hours in there on every visit! At both parks the lazy river is gr8, especially when i get to push other guests, and especially my parents, under the waterfalls that are freezing cold (actually i hold my parents underneath). Its all just fun anyway!

I love Typhoon Lagoon!!! I just love the whole atmosphere I guess. I really wish they had a waterpark with caverns, sorta like the Goonies movie slide hehe.

I have to agree with Travis ..........Typhoon has great atmosphere I could just sit around the park all day taking it in..........plus it has a lot of one thing that Blizzard doesnt have (TREES) everytime i go it seems that Typhoon is alot cooler, less crowded, and calmer than Blizzard....

NOOOOOOOOO R.I.P. RC

Hi Everyone,

Whilst on our annual vacation to WDW our little daughter went on the Pirate Cruise from G.F., and the went to the River country beach where, she informed me they are building lots of new things ????? . This 7 yr old has been there many a time and is quite informed. That was on 7/15.

I love Blizzard beach. Its really expensive but the park is way worth it. Summit Plummit is awsome if you dont mind the swim suit up the rear and i also love the lazy river for just sittin and doing nothing. Mini golf there is very cool as well

When I first heard the theme for Blizzard Beach, I thought it would be dumb. But after visiting it, I actually liked it better than Typhoon Lagoon. TL has a very pleasant tropical theme that seems to match the idea of a water park well. On the other hand, BB has a theme so preposterously matched to a water park that it's silliness really does make it more creative and fun for me. The theme is far better executed than I imagined. TL will always be unique for it's great wave pool (and I love the snorkeling thing too). But BB is just more fun to look at.

Not to mention that BB has Summit Plummit, the scariest thing in all WDW, even scarier than ToT.

My favorite is(was) River Country because of the white water rapids and I like the old fashioned swimming hole theme. I go to TL at least once a week I like the shark reef and the wave pool is awesome. I also like BB but usually go there once every two or three weeks, the black hole is a lot of fun along with the downhill double dipper.
