WDW Updates Part 2 - Fay near-by

Now that they're saying Fay probably won't become a hurricane, I wouldn't worry. It's actually been kinda nice the past couple of days (except for the tornado watches/warnings while the area was on the eastern side of the storm) But it's been breezy and rainy, that's it. A little humid but there is nothing to be scared of now. It gets breezy and rainy almost every day during the summer, this isn't much different now.

That said, if it does come back on land, it could mess up travel... but who knows what it's gonna do, it's been quite unpredictable as it is.

Added Update 3 to the original post. It includes images and video from StormStruck along with a few other quick things.

Enjoy!

EDIT: Video will come later...

Sorry... I didn't realize it had to be gender sensitive...

Sorry, but you have to say her, when they named it after Faye Valentine!

Just a few things from yesterday:

Extremely heavy rainfall at EPCOT last night. At one point we had to walk through 5+ inches of water!

Canceled our Specialty Illuminations Cruise but we watched it in the park. There was no globe yesterday.

After Illumination they played the music from Tapestry of Nations Parade.

A lot of rides were closed yesterday: Mansion (didn't open until mid afternoon), Peter Pan, Big Thunder Mountain.

Crane was up at the Liberty Square Bridge (I have some video of this later)

The speakers in Journey into Imagination were horrible. Every one of them crackled.

I'll try to get photos and videos up someday soon. Today is my last WDW day. :(

Sorry to hear that Fay rained on your parade. I hope that it did not completely ruin your time at WDW. Thanks for the updates anyways.

It didn't ruin any part of our trip. I think our group were the only family having fun in the storm at EPCOT. I thought it was a blast! :)
