The thing is, we basically support this person if we choose to do nothing so if you disagree with this lawsuit and got a letter, make sure to follow the instructions for sending it back to get out of it (if you can find the fine print :) ).

I know I'll be doing that. This is the kind of crap that makes things cost more for the rest of us.

WishIwere@wdw is exactly right, you have to explicictly opt out or you are "defaulted" to being a member of the class. You've got to love the bottom feeding lawyers as much as the idiot who can't read who brought the suit. While the "injured class" will get a DVD or a hotel discount they will received tens of millions in fees. Gee, I wonder why the lawyers try to make almost any trivial thing into a class action suite?

Easy way to stop this, vote out (or don't vote to keep) as many judges as you can, they are the ones that allow the bottom feeders to do this. Of course since the judges are themselves lawyers AND they are approved from the bench by the bar (more cretons, I mean lawyers) what group would you expect to get rich.
