It is tricky to afford a Disney vacation with a family. I have 5 kids, my wife stay's home to care for them so we are a one income family. We definately can't go every year, but we do manage to make the trek every few years.
Sure, I would love to see Disney come up with some kind of "Family Plan" but I think they do a good job of balancing affordability and quality. I'm sure it's a delicate balancing act, if they start charging too much for entrance fee's, then the attendance numbers will drop. If they try to keep entrance fee's too low and it affects the quality of the experience, then attendance numbers will drop. They will do what any business does, try to get the best return on investment.
