WDW ticket management

My wife and I are taking our 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter to WDW this September, and I had a few questions regarding ticket management.

We are staying at the Poly with a room-only reservation. My wife and I each have 5 days left on previously purchased no-expiration park hoppers. We also each have a 1 day UPH comp ticket from a hurricane stay previously. We'll be buying our son park hoppers beforehand for the time down there.

1) Even though we are doing room only reservations, do we get those plastic Key to the World cards that allow us to charge in the parks?

2) Can Disney take our old Key to the World cards, with the 5 remaining days, and put them on our new cards?

3) New tickets ordered from WDW.com.....do they send that flimsy little paper card still?

Thanks.

1. Yes
2. Yes but not every CM knows how. You might need a manager to do it.
3. You will typically receive a plastic voucher which you will trade in for a mylar ticket that has proven to be superior to plastic tickets in every way save for water resistance.

Yes,
yes,
no.

The KTTW can be tied to a credit card so you can charge to the room. You can transfer the ticket information from your old KTTW to your new one. Tickets ordered on-line are plastic, credit-card style media. If you order Annual Passes, you get a credit-card style voucher which is exchanged for a paper ticket.

But, the paper ticket isn't a flimsy thing at all, it is actually more resilient than any other media they've tried and hold data on the magnetic strip much better than the plastic cards.
