Stroller & ECV Rental Price Adjustment Effective 4/6/08
From time to time, we evaluate our existing pricing structures and make adjustments. As a result, effective Sunday, April 6, 2008, the pricing structure for ECV (Electric Convenience Vehicle) and stroller rentals, which has not had a price increase in three years, will be as follows in the Disney Theme Parks and Downtown Disney area:

$27 per day
Disney Channel Games 2008
The “Disney Channel Games 2008” are coming to Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex at the Walt Disney World® Resort from April 28 - May 3, 2008.
Note that this event is a TV production/taping and there will be some down time and potential delays.
Disney Channel Games Concert
On Saturday, May 3 the 2008 Disney Channel Games Concert taping will take place with performances by:

Sounds Like Summer
Dance to classic hits under the skies of the open-air American Gardens Theatre at Epcot®. This summer concert series features a lineup of rockin' bands covering timeless tunes from Elton John, ABBA, The Eagles, Billy Joel, and more. Get the family together and groove to the songs you all know and love!

- Epcot (theme park admission required) -- Epcot Internatinal Flower & Garden Festival "Green" Weekend. Bugs are cool! Find ways to help reduce waste at home and in your community as we spotlight solutions to help keep our planet green.

- Animal Kingdom (park admission required) -- 9am - 3pm -- "Party for the Planet" park-wide Earth Day Celebration including Earth Day button distribution and various activities such as Supermarket Sweep and "What's in Sue's Poop?".
- 9am - 3pm -- Various activities including Jiminy Cricket appearance and conservation stories by the Animal Programs team at Rafiki's Planet Watch
- Pipa, the talking recycle can, has Earth Day messages workied into regular set times. Check show schedule.
- Gitar-Dan has Earth Day messages worked into regular set times. Check show schedule.
- Magic Kingdom Rose Garden (theme park admission required)-- 10am - 3pm -- Earth Day celebration in the park including Jiminy Cricket appearance, Earth
- Day button distribution and face painting.
- Fort Wilderness (Settlement) -- Distribution of EPA literature.
- Port Orleans Resort -- Judging of recycled art display in both lobbies.
- Downtown Disney Marketplace -- 1pm - 4pm -- Various activities including lady bug releases, "worms and dirt" from Disney chefs, Jiminy Cricket drawing classes by Art of Disney, and environmental displays between Once Upon a Toy and Earl of Sandwich.
