WDW - Stroller Capital of the U.S.A.

I wanted to express my concern on the major increase of stroller usage at WDW over the past several years. I know there are probably plenty of people here who agree with me on this issue and I strongly feel we should have a right to discuss about it.

WDW really needs to make their stroller policy a lot more stricter for several reasons:

1) The amount of strollers in and around the midways are ridiculous. I know there are such areas to accommodate them but really, I think it's getting out of control. I consider Fantasyland to be the stroller capital of WDW alone.

2) People who hog the buses with strollers. What they don't realize is that strollers do take up a good amount of room on the buses. I don't think it's right because it forces more people to have to stand (after spending all day in the parks) when some don't have to, plus a majority of these people have the rather larger kind that fit two infants (takes up more space than the single ones alone). Now this could lead to two options: one - WDW needs to have separate buses to accommodate such items (as well as scooters, which I have more sympathy upon since these people are disabled), or two - WDW cracks down on the stroller problem and forces these people to either rent strollers at the parks or "sorry, it's your problem, you should've thought about it before you decided to bring your infant(s) here". Option two would solve this issue greatly, IMO.

And something else I would also like to state (besides the stroller problem) is the amount of young families with little pre-toddler / infant kids that are brats and always whining. This was something that we often complained about and I'm sure others here can agree with me with this. WDW should encourage these people to bring their kids down when they're old enough to appreciate it (besides being more strict / disciplinary with their kids). I think having little bratty and whining kids everywhere takes away from the experience of people who just want to enjoy their vacations. For instance, we were waiting in line to see the fairies and there was this family in front of us who had the brattiest little boy imaginable. The mother did nothing to stop him or discipline him at all. Same goes when we were touring Minnie's house, there was this little girl who was very impatient and kept butting in front of us. Her mother knew we were not happy and kept telling her to stay behind us. IMO, if these kind of people can't train or discipline their kids correctly, then by all means they should just stay home and let others enjoy their vacations.

Forgive me if I seemed to have been complaining, but these are several issues that have increasingly worsened in at least the last three years. I you agree with me, you'll know why. I hope you understand. Thanks.

I'm not trying to sound mean or anything and I apologize to all who may have been offended. We discussed about the same issue with others while on our trip, so I know I'm not the only one with the same issue. Maybe I'm just not the best in describing my thoughts too well on here. By all means we should have the right to express our concerns on our experiences to the World and what they could do to make it better for both parties.

If I offended anyone, PM me if you'd like and I will apologize to you directly.

I don't see this going well at all. While I agree that we should all be allowed to express our opinions and debate topics here this topic has been discussed to death and its never ended well. I really don't feel that the language used in the op will lead to constructive replies.

I think it boils down to this- there are many people who need strollers at WDW and there are many that don't but use them anyway and there isn't a darn thing any of us can do about it.
