Cast Members were out with Coolest Summer Ever signage all around the area they were taking the "media/bloggers" and the lanyards the "media/bloggers" were given also highlighted the Coolest Summer Ever promotion so it would seem that is going to be the focus of this event.

If "COOLEST Summer Ever" is the running theme for the summer season at WDW, I fear there will be more Frozen tied in.

There's a Video of it already on YT:

WOW! It looks awesome! Hopefully this a preview of the Frozen Fireworks this year!

Looks like they are launching from LMA with veiwing on SOA. This really isn't a bad move as it will spread the guests out and they don't have to close the back half of the park to put on a show.

And a blink and you missed it PowerPoint of stuff that's been rammed down our throats already.

George K should be embarrassed he has to babysit this group.

My takeaway: voices of liberty should be very afraid
But didn't seeing Ricky getting to stay in the bungalows make you want to stay there!? And his army of fanboys are thrilled with his day yesterday! What's not to love.

I think these events are more about the lifestylers showing off than Disney actually doing ANYTHING.

Just an honest question.

If you don't find value in their services as a "media" outlet (term used loosely), then why follow them?

I don't have any use for Mongello, Brigante, or whoever is the lifestyler punchbag of the moment around here. So I don't really follow them on Twitter or visit their websites.

Considering the obvious disdain they are shown, especially by @asianway, why is so much effort spent on keeping track of them?

Right. I only hear about these people and their sites from 1 or 2 obsessive members here on wdwmagic.

I'm sure the bloggers thank them for the site hits and for giving them more exposure.

George and Jake's Drunkytown?

We can go halfies on the tab until Disney starts to pick them up.

I'm afraid going halfsies, which if we each get our own drink isn't too different financially from going wholesies, would cause me to lose my motivation. We'd have to blog until the free booze was flowing.

Also, this is a note to whatever Disney managerial type may be reading this thread, when you see/hear the new super popular Disney blog/twitter account/podcast deal in a few weeks, the George associated with those is certainly not the George who is now typing about doing this to get free booze. It is a completely different George who loves Ariel's Undersea Adventure in a completely platonic way with all his heart and soul.

True, but isn't commenting on them here just giving them more exposure? If you want to negate their impact, why discuss them on one of the largest WDW fan sites?

Especially the lighting.
