I used to love watching Walt Disney Presents, I believe that's what it was called. Anyways, it would come on around midnight, Walt Disney himself would talk about Disneyland and cartoons. It was such a great show.

I was just talking the other day about how I miss the old Disney Channel. I loved when they did (I think it was called ) D-TV which showed showed old cartoons set to current music. That was great! Also they had a cute little block of shows called "Lunch Box" for the little kids.

*sigh* I really, really miss Vault Disney. I recently dowloaded the Epcot Opening Special someone had taped off TV and it had the Vault Disney opening...I couldn't have been happier!

I LOVED the old school Disney channel!! I remember the cartoons- Ducktales, Talespin, Gummi Bears, Rescue Rangers- they were all great.

I also remember some of their live action shows- Dumbo, the Winnie the Pooh show with the BIG characters, and a weird, live-action Alice in Wonderland show.

I also remember waking up to Mousercise every morning.

My favorite show, though was Kids Incorporated, as hoaky as it was! "K-I-D-S!"

But I know what you mean. I remember there was this animatronic (forgot the robot's name) and he would tell you a few facts about Disney and stuff. It would air durring comercial breaks and I remember the theme being, "Imagineer that!" or something of that sort.

The robot's name was Tom Morrow and could also be seen in Innoventions at EPCOT during the 90s.

I miss Inside Out. Great show. They need to bring it back and have Kryssa host it. :D I got flamed big time when I posted on another site that an Imagineeer on IO said that the meteorites flying over SM were NOT cookies!

Ya know, Its kinda funny I saw this thread today.....
I have been going thru the mountains of video tapes here to see what should be kept and what just needs to go. In the process so far I have found some real gems. Like Robin Crusoe with ________ Van , and some very cool old Cartoons....including Little Hiawatha. I also have found a special on Ub Iwerks, the 50 years of animation special, and also a Snow White special from 1993. I also found an Imagineering spot on the Animatronics, with Tiki Room, Pirates, Lincoln and Country Bears!
Its very cool to have so much of the original Disney channel on Video....Now I need a way to burn it all to DVD!

Ah yes, the old Disney Channel. You know, I really try watching the Disney Channel now, and I just can't do it...especially not for more than an half hour to an hour. I pretty much HATE the stuff they put on there now. Even Zoog Disney was better than what they have now, and that's saying something.
I miss Under the Umbrella Tree, The Wuzzles, Fraggle Rock, Adventures in Wonderland, So Weird (I know, not "classic" Disney, but it was still great), Avonlea, WDW: Inside Out (course, it was HORRIBLE after they got rid of Scott Harriot...he MADE that show). I wish they would make a Vault Disney Channel where they show all that stuff.
