WDW should take a note from this US promo following HP 7.2's midnight showing

I love how people are trying to justify that it's possible for Disney to do this. Of course it's possible. But is getting a few hundred people a few miles down the road, as easy as letting them walk down a walk way that only takes 5 min to get down? No. It would be very hard for Disney to do this. Of course it's "possible", by why create the hassle just to be apart of standing around in an empty theme park at 2am.

I'm sure the people saying that Disney could do this, would be the same people complaining when it took 20-30 min to be loaded on a crowded bus and taken to a theme park.

The take wasn't for Disney to do something EXACTLY like this....

Disneyland has had special events for the past 3 Pirate movies. WDW charged$ 300 to ride a boat around Bay Lake.

Sure they do Star Wars Weekends, but nothing suprising EVER happens at WDW.

What would happen if one day Dreamfinder and Figment suprised everbody at the front gate of Epcot?

Talking Mickey greeted guests heading into MK?

The problem is, when they have tried in the past, all the jerks here throw a hissy. Remember Stitch TPing the castle. I thought it was cute. the boards eruped in outrage.

My reply wasn't directed at you, I'm sorry you took it that way. I understood your intent of posting this, and I agree with you. Sorry about that.

My reply was directed at the people who insisted it'd be so easy for Disney World to do something EXACTLY like this.

Sorry too. Exactly like this would be stupid.

Wow, a civil dialogue on this board???? What up with that?

I thought it sounded pretty cool, but then apparently FJ or Dragon Challenge weren't open. Not nearly as cool.

It was a 2 hour event, with the shops, butterbeer, castle tours and Hippogriff open. Plenty to do with your friends for 2 hours.

Dragons wasn't open because of the noise rule it has with the neighborhoods nearby. FJ wasn't open because if the ride ran til 5 am, and had to be open again at 7 am for early entry, maintenance would not have enough time to do all the safety checks on the vehicles prior to it opening for the day. They were working on it as the event progressed, as they do for 6-7 hours every night.
