Hello everyone!!
I'm new at this and i just wanted to see if this worked well. Anyways, I am in love with the WDW Resort TV. I watch it all the time when I'm at the resort. I was wondering if anybody has or knows where to find a video/audio of it. Thank You!

yes i agree that disney central is very compilicated, i triedso many times but i got very agravated with the whole command thing.

That castmembers.com thing doesnt work either! If u can send me some instructions on how to use it ill give it a go. if anybody has any wdw resort tv of their own and would e mail it to me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm telling you the best place is disney central. You must follow the instructions to the letter and it'll work just fine. I use the sister program invision and once into the chat room/forum just tye !list and up comes a window that you can double click into for each server some only have audio and some video look around, be patient and you'll find the info you need. I belive the files would be way to big to send via e-mail especcially if you have dial up. :brick: or you want the video clips not just audio? Yeah I know it's a pain to get it going but the rewards are great! I just got the whole tower of terror ride video last night. Amatuer footage but still great. also check out this other thread... I asked a similar question that you did and here's what answers I got some people do have stuff they could send but you have to ask.

To access our FTP server, you will first need to download an FTP client, we recommend the following or use your own:

ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/install/ws_ftple6.exe


Once downloaded and installed, run the program and create a new account by putting in the following details:


Profile Name: disneycastmembers
Hostname / Address: ftp.salemnet.co.uk
Host Type: Automatic Detect
User ID: disneycastmembers@salemnet.co.uk
Password: zippy


Once done, you should be able to connect and upload / download as you wish. If you have any other problems, please let me know.

Thanks Moto for your comments on #D-C.

To those having problems, I highly recomend the detailed step by step guide to get it going. If you use mRIC and Invision together, Disney-Central is not more difficult then navigation Windows Explorer.

There is a link to the gudie in my signature.

Original Poster: We have a large chunk of Resort Tv on the site. The site overall has over 100gigs of Disney video and audio.

Dixie: I cannot stress enough using Invision. It compeltely eliminates the command line prompts. Type !list and everything from there is mouse driven.

last time i tried ti install invision a big thing came on my screen telling me i just gotten a virus... this happened both times when i downloaded or tried to invision.. so i just deleted it.

No problem. I've only been using for a couple of weeks and it took about 1/2 hour or so learning curve if that but sure was easy with invision. I love playing the trivia. When I just downloaded I did not get a message about any virus but did get a prompt stating something to the affect that if I did not trust the source do not continue to download. I believe your antivirus program is just warning you that you are about to download a a program and are you sure you want to?? Just a guess. I'm not a computer guru but this happens when I go to download.

Less than 100 days till I go.

Downloaded of off Mirc last night the 4 or 5 loops for resort tv sure is great. I love wathcing when I'm at the hotel.

I do belive they are too big to send though via e-mail. Maybe I can zip them up?
