Interesting. You can guarantee it's going to be as moderated as their blog.

Had a chance to look at the reviews for Imagination...Some are pretty dissapointed and they got on..https://reviews.disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/journey-into-imagination-with-figment

And the responses from Disney seem too robotic..Like this one for example...
I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy Dr. Channing’s sensory labs. Figment can be quite mischievous, as you experienced. Thanks for sharing your review. We look forward to your family’s next visit to our parks.

Yeah, I think no response would be better than that kind of reply. I like how it very quickly goes from "We're sorry you're disappointed" to "We look forward to your next visit."

The cynical side of me says that it accurately sums up the current WDW mindset: doesn't really matter what guests think or what they notice - they'll still keep coming back anyway.

lol, Journey into Imagination has a 3.2 Rating with a modest 60.2% reviewer recommendation. Considering this is an official Disney website and likely moderated to some capacity, this truly shows that guests could care less about this ride.

Imagination has served far better than Stitch's Great Escape on that site though. Stitch sits at a 2.1 and a lowly 30.2% reviewer recommendation. Additionally, 136 out of the current 199 reviews are 2 stars or less, with 96 people giving the attractions 1 Star (and probably wishing they could give it less).

Would love to know how the remaining 63 people have it 3 stars or more. I'm totally baffled by that.:banghead:

Captain EO also seems to be generally hated, coming in again at a 2.1, with a 31.3% reviewer recommendation, coming in just above Stitch. Also, the controversial Tomorrowland Speedway is sitting at a mediocre 2.8 and 50% reviewer recommendation. People either seem to love it or hate it, much like on here.

Now down to 30.8%. How much lower does it have to go before they finally get RID of that eyesore?

Excuse my uncharacteristic bluntness, but this seems like an epically stupid idea on the part of Disney. No good comes of the potential for negative reviews, especially when your brand story is built on being the top tier of an industry you no longer are the top tier of. Yes, some ratings will be stellar, but it doesn't erase the bad ones that potential first time visitors will see and remember. And you're giving the guest a chance to speak their mind? Who greenlit this?! Just inconceivably naive and/or arrogant. Or both. /soapbox

Couldn't they just...you know...delete the really bad reviews

Why do all of them say yes, I recommend even of they do not enjoy the ride.

Also on Journey to Imagination I notice all the good review are upfront. While bad reviews don't start showing until about page three.

Probably because they targeted certain people with emails (likely Disney Mom types) before the general public knew about it, giving them a good "head start" to try to head off the critics. Very short term strategy, though, LOL. (Must be a day that ends in "Y"...)

Most of the negatives are comparing the Old to the "New"... The one below it is even less positive...

Not sure if this will ever come out of "beta"...
