I remember a while ago, maybe when I was 6 or so, when my family and I were in the car entering DisneyWorld, we would turn to AM Radio and listen to WDW news and tunes. Does anyone know if these stations still exist? I got some info from another website saying that the stations for the Magic Kingdom are AM 1030 and AM 1200. If anyone knows anything about this, reply.....

I remember those...and was wondering the same thing. I don't think they still exhist since there are no signs on the roads anymore. I listen to the next best thing when I am there though, TIR (traveler information radio).

I think Radio Disney is broadcast all over the country. The radio station I believe they are talking about is the one that guests could tune into while driving on WDW Property. It gave park info for the day, and was countinuous looping info speil about 5 min. long. I haven't heard it in a long time.

I remember most of the time Jiminy Cricket talked along with Mickey, Donald and Goofy in some moments. I felt the same feeling you get when passing through the Disney property arc and seeing the Disney pruple signs with Mickey hands.

Likewise, Luau. I guess I'll have to search the AM stations next time my family drives up to WDW. I'll give it a try and let everyone know, if you want to know...

I remember that station too. I remember how they used to have the road signs that told you what station to turn to on AM. Well the last time I went I didn't see any signs and I searched all through the AM section on my radio and no luck. All I could find was either in Espanol or it was just like news or something but I made sure I listened long enough to find out what each station was and none I found were Disney. So I geuss they have discontinued this.
