That is a Phoenix rupicola (Cliff Date Palm) standing in the courtyard of the Morocco Pavilion. While the rupicola is a beautiful palm it is in no way appropriate to Morocco as it is indigenous to Bhutan which is a country located above northern India at the foothills of the Himilayas.
