Those were a millennium/Eisner thing. Can't say I'll miss them... Though the latest makeover is worse.I miss those spinny purple things by Innoventions

was not happy to hear that they gave over to starbucks I only got to go in there once. so sad
Me either... But from everything I've heard so far, it will still look mostly the same and have similar baked goods... Just the coffee (beverage?) aspect of it will be Starbucks. Technically the building is still there, but the animation studio has been mostly gutted - a former shell of itself.

The balloons are still there but not like the ones when The Land 1st opened.
^ Indeed, The Land got a new color scheme including the balloons, walls, linens, etc. and the dining area saw the loss of the fountain in order to provide more seating area. Here's a current look:

Not gone, but boarded up... We'll see what they're doing as far as a refurb - or turning it into a pirate's game... It already looks quite a bit different today.
