WDW passes buy in UK or US?

Hi,

I am visiting WDW in July 2007. In the past I have purchased 5 or 7 day passes in the UK before my trip. With the UK/Dollar rate being so good right now, a 7 day pass costs £165 buying from the Disney site in the UK, but around $208 plus tax if buying in the US - a huge saving as I am buying for 10 people.

Question - can I buy passes from the US before travelling, paying the US rate rather than the UK one?

Or - I have friends in the US, could they purchase the tickets on the web for me?

Any tips welcome!

I've bought directly from the WDW website before. Just make sure you get on the US site. Don't forget to compare like for like though.

Last trip we bought a 14 day through Attraction tickets direct, and to be honest it was the best decision, we didn't worry about popping back to the parks for just a couple of hours, or just to watch fireworks as we weren't using a 'day'.

Good luck

Just keep in mind that the 14 and 21 day unlimited passes can only be purchased in the Uk and not in USA, if your staying that long

Have a great trip
Are purchases restricted based on location or citizenship. In other words, if I as an American citizen wanted to purchase the 14 or 21 day unlimited pass, could I do so through a UK retailer/website?

Yes, its only postage that would add to the cost. Though the poor exchange rate may make it prohibative

Thank you.

I think it strange that Disney offers alternative types of passes available to different countries. I assume that it's meant to be an enticement to those of you across the pond, eh? :veryconfu
