WDW open 24/7

There is a huge amount of maintenance that goes on from the moment the park is cleared of all guests to the moment the park opens in the morning. There is really no way that this work could be performed consistantly on a 24/7 schedule.

Another thing to consider is the Cast Members. Being perky at 4:00 in the morning would be a Herculean task that no amount of coffe in the world could fix. And even if the CM's were to be able to pull it off, would you really want to talk to someone that perky at 4:00 in the morning?

Having the parks open 24 hours affects not just the parks. Disney would have to practically double the number of rooms in the resorts. Reason? The only way Disney would do it is if they could get the same park attendance in the second 12 hour period as the first, thus you would have expect a doubling in occupancy.

But who would actually go to the park from say 9pm to 9am? Even in my insomnia riddles college years I dont think I could have done that. I think an all night VIP tour would be a really cool idea but not keeping the parks open all night.

The only reason they would ever keep the parks open 24 hours is if there was a HUGE demand -- but they'd just build more parks instead.

I think it might be a great idea on occasion. Maybe periodically have a magical all-nighter.

I like that idea. Otherwise it would be the hot thing for a while. Oh, disneys open 24/7. But then, it would phase out. and so once in a while, its special.

I wouldn't mind having some all-night eateries, though. Is that one in the Swan (or is Dolphin?) still open? Problem would be getting to it from another resort.
