WDW new web pages

I don't understand why Disney can't streamline the experience more. The site looks great, but it is needlessly complicated and tempermental. And I am always shocked that there is not a window on the main page listing park time and attraction closings.

It can be graphically cool and yet be more functional.

Yea gotta agree with you there. Functionality should definitely trump aesthetics, and the disney website is pretty notorious for being slow and just a hog.

So I guess they've temporarily gave up on the new website? I never actually saw it, but for the past 2 days I haven't had any downtime on it and it's still the old format...

I don't know why but if you try to go through the front door or WDW Home page it always comes up with the old stuff. Try starting at this link and see if it works for you. I have not had any problem getting on to the new stuff through this link.
Let me know.

To those that keep getting the old site, use the link that has been posted above - that ends in benefits. If I go in to the regular URL, I get the old site, if I use the link above, I get the new site, and just click Home to start from the beginning.

I have been trying for days and just kept getting the original - now I am happy I can see the new site.

Actually, I'm on the new site and it IS still quite a bit like the old one. The differences are how they have the pages set up for DISCOVER the parks, resorts, and all of that.

I'm actually on the EPCOT page right now and when I go to Attractions and look up SOARIN', the page on the screen is showing the Imagination Pavilion. Come on webmaster..... I'm also finding that if you click on a particular park attraction and then are finished and want to go back to the list of other attractions, you can't go back just the one page, you have to go back to DISCOVER, then down the park again and back to the list of attractions. It also takes you to different places than you'd expect or want. I clicked on the EPCOT-ATTRACTIONS link and for some reason it took me to the Animal Kingdom attractions. Site's still kinda buggy.

Yeah there are definitely some strange kinks with the new site. It is pretty to look at, but like others have said, there are some pages and links that could be/need to be improved.
