The pavilion! I’ve been tempted to purchase those maple syrups that look like they are in motor oil or brake fluid containers but never did it.
Other then glass, that is how maple syrup is packaged. Mostly plastic now but at one time tin cans were the norm. Hardly any glass now, but, dropping one of those containers accidentally created a hazard as well as a huge mess. Vermont Maple Syrup is still the best though. Canada should have a restaurant specializing in authentic Smoked Meat Sandwiches. I'd spend my whole vacation there.

Never have I ever seen any of the movies in World Showcase.
I have never seen the movie in China... all the rest yes. Have you not even seen American Adventure? If not, make that your first priority on your next visit. It's not all movie, but, should not be missed. Talk about your absolute triumphs in AA technology, that would be the place to see it.

Never seen any of the Circle-Vision films in World Showcase. I should probably do that on my next trip.

Also, never stayed on property, as crazy as that sounds. I prefer to save money when it comes to that.

I live in Northern Pennsylvania where Maple Syrup is big business. My neighbor being one who makes syrup. He was loading barrels (yes steel barrels) onto his truck with his tractor. He tells me he is sending his excess to Vermont. Turns out everyone in PA does that. So just so you know, when you buy Vermont syrup, you are actually buying Pennsylvania syrup.

Vermont doesn't have just one big manufacturing plant that produces Maple Syrup. Most is from real family farms and stands of Maple Trees on their property. There may be some connection there, but, I would be hard pressed to say that Vermont Syrup is Pennsylvania Syrup. Even if it was... maple trees are maple trees. I lived in Vermont for 50 years and I have never bought pure Maple Syrup in all that time. Too expensive, didn't need the calories and did I mention too expensive? The tiny bottles in the tourists trap stores are probably the Pennsylvania stuff.

I doubt it. Vermont is pretty small and probably can't keep up with the demand of "Vermont Maple Syrup". PA has a much larger Maple Syrup industry all by family farms (which has, in many cases, grown to a full time job). I don't pay for it myself. My neighbor taps some of my trees and gives me a quart or two for free. I would dare say if you bought Vermont syrup on regular basis you ate PA syrup.

Could be, I guess, but, I do know a number of Sugar makers personally and none of those buy outside of Vermont. They harvest what they have, process it, bottle it and sell it. When it runs out they close up the sugar house and go onto other chores. The profit margin for buying outside wouldn't be worth the effort. I'm sure that there are many dishonest people that will label stuff as Vermont, when it is not, but, it is hardly the majority of what legally has to be labeled as Pure Vermont Maple Syrup.

I know a number of sugar makers too and when they have a shortage they buy from other states, package it and sell it as theirs.

We used to have a lot of potato farms here too. Guess where they sent their potatoes?
