I read last night that if you get married at WDW you can have Goofy as best man, Minnie as maid of honor, and Mickey as your chauffeur. You can even drive up to your wedding in style, in Cinderella's glass coach! And if you don't have alot of friends you can hire additional Disney characters. I posted this message for the person who has a picture of Scott's badge.

Wouldn´t it be easier to search in a few threads and find that member´s name and send him a private message? or to post this paragraph under the various existing threads about weddings and engagements at WDW? you probably mean "Rodrigo" who also has his nametag as an avatar and started a thread about that in which you have already posted. :brick:

you can certainly hire any characters that you want for your wedding and they will show up, however you cant have them in an official capacity (ie: best man, maid of honor etc) as that would require them to sign as witnesses to the wedding. Not particularly legal!! Sorry if I burst anyone's bubble!!

Actually, at least when we were married in 1998, Disney characters could NOT attend the actually wedding ceremony, only receptions. I think it's really all about appearances -- Disney doesn't want it to look like two of their characters are getting married. They are especially careful with Mickey and Minnie.

I could be wrong about the ceremony thingy, but I know they can't act in a legal capacity such as signing a witness document like a marriage license. I am sure you can get Mickey for a dance at the reception though!!!! Me personally I Am more of a Beast type of chick but then again looking at the name I guess that isnt a great shock huh??
