You have never been anywhere around other stadiums? The neighborhoods always make parking bank on game day, baseball, football car racing it is all about using the opportunity to profit from what you have.

Sounds like you need to stay home, world is a big scary place.
Sounds like you like to dream up some fantasies. Just merely pointing out other parking options when the lots are full.

Q: Why is Pop Warner’s Super Bowl and National Cheer and Dance Championships switching from Disney to Universal Orlando Resorts and Camping World Stadium?

A:
We continue to have a great relationship with Disney and are sure families will visit the parks that week. While Disney has played host to our Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer & Dance Championships for years, our partnership regarding championship week came to a pause when the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020. We were putting final touches on a new agreement when Disney was suddenly tasked with hosting and creating a bubble for professional leagues like the MLS and NBA at their ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. With so much uncertainty it was difficult for Disney to commit to the future and because our first priority is our Pop Warner members, we decided to start searching for a new location to ensure our teams had a first-class Championship home.

Luckily, we did not have to look far and found a highly experienced and well-respected partner in Florida Citrus Sports and an exciting new location at Universal Orlando Resorts and Camping World Stadium, both of which we think will offer some amazing, new experiences for our athletes and their families.

Interesting, I hope the one time bubble was worth it to lose consistent annual income that pop brought in. Go figure, its as if the Exec's didn't have anyone with forward thinking in the room when this call was made.

This decision could go beyond Pop Warner as well. Other groups who might consider using WWoS as a multiyear venue will have reservations about contracting with Disney after an agreement couldn't be reached with a multidecade partner.

A bunch of events that Disney normally holds at WWOS that are still happening (because Florida gonna Florida) have been displaced/moved. Most of them intend to return to WWOS once available again. I think Pop Warner is the exception in that regard.

People are forgetting that Disney very much wants to be friends with professional sports, since, that's where the money is. Disney wants the NBA to consider ABC Sports and ESPN as their partners.

And while being a friend to amateur sports helps with branding... the pros with the big bucks get first dibs.

Also, Disney doesn't need Cheer or PopW business. Once COVID restrictions are done, WDW is going to be non-stopped packed. WDW has already made decisions to discourage over-crowded attendance that makes long time customers mad, but, is necessary to reduce the overcrowding. The time that Cheer/Pop is down at WDW is already a crowded time for the parks (not like it used to be when it was a dead time). Disney can now sell those rooms at a higher price point.

This isn't going to hurt Disney at all.

It might hurt them long-term, but that's true of a lot of their recent decisions.

This one is less of a long-term danger than some of the others, though, because it's not like these kids aren't still going to WDW while they're in Orlando. They'll go to both.

It was my understanding they went to both WDW and Uni while at Cheer/Pop. Just like they'll do in the new place.

To go from Universal to Camping World which is basically going through the nightmarish traffic that is called I-4 and downtown Orlando is tough. Allow ample time for travel.

Sorry if this has already been asked but where is Universal Orlando Resort & Camping World Stadium?
I have been to Universal in Orlando and have never seen or heard of it.
They’re two things. Universal Orlando Resort is Universal that you’ve visited and Camping World Stadium is north of there, to the west of downtown Orlando.
