Has anyone tried this under the new My trips section? It doesn't seem to me to be very helpful seeing as I'd like to be able to record my dinner reservations and such.

Thanks
Michelle

yeah, the whole thing is kind of stupid. All you do is pick your favorite rides and such, and they colaberate them onto one list. Pretty lame if you ask me. (And if you pick a ride that will be closed during your visit, they'll leave you a message in the message section). I thought they'd have something a little bit cooler

We (well, I) just create a master-list with all of our information. The top 1/3 is all financial stuff, so others can plan accordingly.
Then I have a daily itenerary that shows where we will be each day of the visit, followed by a breakdown of our meals. We try to have one decision made per-day, so there's less guessing when it comes to when/where to eat, but we also leave many spots open. I compile a list of all the restaurants we would like to eat at if time permits, and ask others to check their menus out at AllEarsNet.com.
I also make notes of which rides will be closed and the park operating hours. We just attach it to our driving directions and our map. In the morning it's good to glance at it, and to jot down the PS number(s), but it is by no means as concrete as a touring plans and other people's plans.

I'm using it as just a guide too... helps me plan my days and to know how much time I have - I also listed if there is Wishes, etc on one column line so I could keep track of that and EMH's and my ressies for MVMCP & CP...

OK... I need to know... where do I get the Disney font from please???????I have Windows XP.... would that work on it?

Thanks

I created my own itinerary. I just collected data along the way that applied to our upcoming trip. I used WordPad. I printed off the pages last week after I added cute graphics and it's been laminated and bound into a rather cute little book. It has all the important details of our trip included. I am very excited! Only 3 weeks from right now, I will be at MK at MVMCP! :xmas: Maggie

Well, if we're getting technical here, I have a binder, broken down into sections. (As follows)
1. Itenerary(s) (all the revisions are included here, most recent first)
2. All confirmation numbers
3. Park hours
4. EMH hours and attractions open at that time
5. Parade/Fireworks show times
6. A list of things to look for in the parks (see the thread about Little Known Secrets) seperated by park and section of park for easy reference.
7. A list of pictures I need to take (to coincide with the photograpy contests on this forum)
8. My largest section: printouts of the menu's of every resturant I wish to eat in (taken from allearsnet.com) in alphabetical order.
9. My packing list (believe it or not, it's currently 4 pages long....gotta work on that)
10. A list of AP discounts/Visa discounts/shareholder discounts/any other money saving ideas I found on mousesavers.com

I swear I'm not obsessive-compulsive, I just love planning! It gets me so excited!

Tink Rules, do you just want the Disney script font, or all of them? There are bunches, everything from an Epcot dingbat (instead of letters, each letter is a symbol for all things Epcot), Disneyland font, Haunted Mansion font, Mission Space, MGM, Tomorrowland, Indiana Jones, etc.
Here are a few of my favorite sites: (I have a Disney favorites list on my computer the size of a phone book.)

http://mickeyavenue.com/fonts/disney-fonts.html#freewareFonts

http://www.fontseek.com/fonts/disney.htm

http://www.disneyexperience.com/fonts.htm (BTW, that site is great for downloading a bunch of stuff for your computer....)

http://lnx.ginevra2000.it/Disney/font.htm

http://i-love-disney.com/font.php (Has Monster's Inc, which I've never seen before)

I hope that helps!

My, oh my...

You have got it together with your Planner. Such organization!

I have a hard time just getting my group out of the door to make it to the park openings, so we have to be much, much more leniant with many of our plans.

I use an excel spread sheet that lists each day across the top we are going to be there and then down the side I list each park with their parades, EMH's, dining ressie's, etc. and fill the info across, this was I only have one sheet of paper I need to carry with me in the parks and it has everything on it.

Ergh, and my family thought I was crazy...

My first step is to get a piece of paper, and divide it into squares representing each day we are there, say, seven columns for seven days. Then I divide it into four rows across for each park. Then I write in the hours of each park, EMH info, any parade/fireworks times, and which park is best/worst according to the Bible. Oh, I mean the Unofficial Guide...

Well, it goes on and on and on, and I printed out all my stuff last time, and we didn't look at it once. I even cancelled a couple of ressies for dinner. But I am a housewife with not much to do, so I love to plan and overplan.

I use the free trip planner at touringplans.com. I like to be organized. I also have the passporter binder and the touring plan planner fits in there. I always get some tidbits, helpful hints and recommendations from board members so I am able to keep everything in one place. I can also take the touring plan sheet for each day and carry it in my pocket. So far though every one on this thread is really organized. Now I don't feel like a freak!

THANKS!
