I guess I am just about the only one who likes the August heat. I've made 17 trips to Disney in my life and 13 of them were in August, 1 in June (just got back last night!!!) 2 in July, 1 in May. My next trip is August 10-17. I love going to Disney in August!

I live in Ohio and I hate the weather here 99% of the time.

Just have to remember to drink lots of water!

Being from Ohio too I agree with you. This winter I kept telling myself I would not complain about being too hot. We'll be enjoying WDW August 5-19 so I guess crowdwise we might see both ends of the August spectrum.

Late August isn't too bad, but our school starts August 22. Teachers return August 19. It is still hot though.

It's hot, humid and crowded in August. I vacationed in Orlando in August three times. Then I swore off summers!

But it's do-able if you manage the heat and your tempers.

We went during the third week of Aug last year. Crowds were manageable. It was hot, but most of the rides are indoors. Usually had thunderstorms mid to late afternoons. Get there early and take breaks in the afternoon, then go back at night.

I'm with you! Hot, humid, summer days are the best.

Went in the beginning of August 2 years ago and the crowds were very manageable. The heat can be a bear. We did the parks early and late and the resort pool/dinner in between.

My biggest complaint was how warm the pool water was at the BC. I wanted them to dump a truck load of ice cubes in there. Water parks are also fun in August.
