I'm giving it to you. Aluminum. I learned this on our KTTK tour when our guide asked the question and then proceeded to hit the roof with her riding crop. Our guide said at the time the park and the attraction were built they didn't have the specific knowledge to make an authentic thatched roof so they used aluminum and cut it to look like straw.Coca Cola cans!
