WDW float at Macy's Thanksgiving parade

I'm suprised no one else has startd this. :veryconfu The parade had a float with Disney characters and Peter Pan, Hercules, Aladdin & Jasmine, and just about ALL the Prince's and Princess' had little children dressed as them. IT WAS SO CUTE! This was totally unexpected. I didn't think Disney did this anymore since they have thier own parades. I LOVED IT! :D

why is it in the "non-WDW" section? It was a WDW themed float. It even had the WDW logo on the ship and the "Happiest celebration on earth" thing.:confused:

Because it's not about WDW? It's about a parade in NYC where Disney had a float. I think most people use the WDW of the forums for things that are IN WDW.

This was also talked about back in sept. I (give or take a month:hammer:)but Obviously no one knew what it was gonna look like then

I admit I cryed half way through the song it was so magical ill pay if anyone can provide me w/ a mpg or wmv file.

Exactly!!! ;) I figured it wasn't directly WDW and had to figure where it'd fit

PS - I would so pay someone for video LOL - agreed

i don't know if they are doing it this year or not . but last year disney was a big supporter of the childrens Christmas parade here in atlanta. the Character buss was up here and they characters performed a number. i had connections and was up front for it. if you want pics i can post.

childrens is a non profit organization and donations got you a float in the parade. it is also what opens up the fesival of trees where disney had a large presence as well.

I have it taped on VCR but don't have the tools to convert to proper media for posting. :hammer:

Christmas parade video

I have a question and maybe someone can help me out. Does anyone happen to have a video or music, or know where i can get it, besides disney central to which i can not figure out lol, of the Main Street Electrical Parade When it returned to the park during Christmas one year and they mixed christmas music mixed with the theme? That was really cool I thought.
I wish they would do that again or mix christmas tunes in with specto magic.
If anyone can help me out that would be great. Please email me if you can since i don't get a chance to get on here much. Thanks everyone!

Disney always has at least 1 balloon or float in the parade. Last year they had a Kermit the Frog balloon in it. All the NY papers had information about some of the balloons and floats in the Wednesday papers.

It was my favorite part of the parade! I especially loved the little kids dressed as princes and princessess (I feel like I'm stuttering now).

I was only watching the parade off and on. Since my High Def TV is not hooked up i have not watched much tv. Also redoing my bathroom and kitchen so that takes up my free time.
