I asked a member of the Wishes fireworks team that I've known for a few years about a some issues:
- the Halloween & Christmas party fireworks are being redone by the creator of "Wishes" (which was apparently outsourced and not done by the creative lead of MK)
- currently they are short staffed fireworks technicans, so don't expect a new fireworks show at MGM any time soon.
- the idea about brining back Sorcery in the Sky was talked about but appears to be on the back burner or dead for the current time. If it happens, don't expect it for at least a year or 2. The only part of the story that didn't make sense was that they were trying to figure out what they would end the evening with, LMAX, Sorcery or Fantasmic or maybe the possibility of rotating them? Apparently they don't schedule a showing of LMAX & Fantasmic at the same time.
- no one has any knowledge of what they are doing with 20K area, all management floats out is "E ticket ride". (this makes sense cause if there was a definite plan it would have leaked out along time ago).
