We are planning our first trip in January to WDW and have elected to pay for the dining plan and now we have questions about the reservations. How do we make the reservations? How soon can we make them? What are some restaurants we should not miss?

Well 1st there are different types of Dining plans- So I think you need to decide how much eatting you want to do.

This link gives detail on each plan so check it out.

http://www.mousemisers.com/2008/2009-disney-world-dining-plans/

What we do is we decide on what days where we will be at in WDW then we plan our dining around that.

This is the plan we do-
The Disney Dining Plan includes, per person, per night of your stay:
  • One table service meal
  • One counter service meal
  • One snack
Please note gratuities are not included on the table service meals. Table service meals can also be used for signature restaurants, dinner shows, private dining or pizza delivery (these typically run 2 table service meals per person). More information can be found in the brochure.
The cost of the Disney dining plan is $39.99 per night per adult (10 and older), and $10.99 per child (3 – 9).

Once you pick where you want to eat it is currently at 90 days prior to your arrival that you can make your plans by calling 407-939-3463 or reserve online by starting here http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/ by using your resort reservation #.

I also need to mention that the 90days will be changing next Month (Oct.) to 180 days.

I just need to make a suggestion that once you pick your place and get an idea around what time you would want to eat @ TS locations, that yu might have a 2nd choice and that is just if the location is not available.

I hope this helps.
